The dolphins have a warm brass-toned finish, while the shell bowl is finished in a soft chalky white, creating a striking contrast between the sculptural base and the flowing organic form above. The design draws inspiration from classical dolphin tripod motifs that appear in European decorative arts and were later embraced in Hollywood Regency interiors for their playful yet sophisticated character. With its graceful pedestal form, this piece works beautifully as a centerpiece bowl, decorative vessel, or sculptural accent on a console, coffee table, or dining table. The bowl and base are constructed from metal and secured from underneath with visible bolts. The shell form adds movement and texture, making the piece a standout decorative element in coastal, Regency, or eclectic interiors. See less

There is visible wear to the white painted finish along the rim and edges of the shell bowl and base, consistent with age and use. The brass dolphins show areas of patina and light finish wear, which contribute to the piece’s vintage character. Overall the bowl presents beautifully and remains a striking decorative object. less
