This Large Oak Case Wall Clock Measures 53" long and 20.25" Wide and 5.5" Deep. Big Regulators like this one are Visually Pleasing and the Pendulum makes a big Statement though it may have had a larger Bob. This Example Retains the Original or Older Finish that Enhances the Warm Golden Oak Coloring. The Painted Dial Measures 14" in Diameter and is Painted on a Zinc Pan. It is in Wonderful Antique Condition which is Remarkable for a Seth Thomas Clock. The dial Features a Time Track that Displays the hours with Roman Numeral Figures, a Subsidiary Seconds Dial Located above the the Center Arbor, the Makers Name printed in Block Letters is displayed just above the Six O' Clock Hour and the Statement "Manufactured in the United States of America" below the Time Ring. This Dial is in Very Nice Original Condition. The Movement is of Excellent Quality. The Movement is Weight Driven and is Designed to Run Eight Days on a Full Wind. It incorporates a "Graham Deadbeat Escapement" and "Maintaining Power". The Front Plate is Die-Stamped with the Clock Makers Trade Mark.. The Movement is Secured to the Case by an Iron Bracket that is Screwed to the Backboard. The Pendulum also hangs from this location. It is Constructed from a Wooden Rod and a large 4.5" Brass Covered Bob that could have been Replaced at one time but is a older one. It is Designed to Compensate for Changes in Temperature. The Weight is also made of Brass. This Clock is not Working but has all it's Original Parts with Maybe the Exception of the Bob and could be as Simple as Cleaning or Adjustments or Repair to some Part. This is a Fabulous Clock and will be the Focal Point to the Clock Collectors Collection See less
