Fantastic set of English ironstone plates, these Calyx Ware plates present in a soft, pale, aqua blue, the color is darker than the photos, the photos were taken in natural light, and we can’t get the exact blue on our camera. But it is a soft mint. A pattern of birds and a cherry blossom tree cover the center surrounded by a geometric pattern that has Moorish influence. These plates are striking and would be lovely on a table today or to display
