Originally designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1902 for his construction of the Hill House, these chairs combine striking, minimal design that have made them one of the most recognizable chairs in the history of design. Chairs do not have any attribution marks. They have been purchased at an estate sale in Italy and the previous owner has claimed they were bought in 1980s. Very good vintage condition with small signs of time and use. Chairs have been reupholstered into playful geometrical fabric that very well complements overall design of the chair. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
