Beautiful pair of William Switzer Biedermeier armchairs, handcrafted in Spain and finished and upholstered in Canada. These chairs are a variation of the Biedermeier armchair that remains part of the William Switzer collection.
The chairs feature beautifully sculpted wood frames with graceful curved arms, tapered legs, gently curved backs, and the distinctive black pierced decorative rail across each back. The warm wood has exceptionally attractive figured grain, with natural variation throughout that gives the pair considerable character. The cream micro-cord upholstery is finished with coordinating braided piping.
A beautifully proportioned pair with the quality craftsmanship and sculptural detailing that make William Switzer furniture so desirable. Equally suited to a dining table, desk, or as occasional accent chairs.
