An early Arts and Crafts style bent wood chair.
It has a high trapezoidal backrest with a vertical central splat cutout and a slightly flared wooden seat.
The legs have nice carvings. The tenon through construction is evidenced in the seat.

Similar to chairs made by important Belgian Gustave Serrurier- Bovy however provenance is unknown.
The chair also reads Swedish or Scandinavian.

Original wood finish with minor surface wear and patina from use and age.
A small spot of missing veneer on its front seat and one spot on its underside. See less
