These plates are very … Read more Set of 8 Scalloped Pink Luster Edged Plates by Merklesgrun Porcelain Factory of Bavaria circa 1912-1918. These plates are very pretty with rosebuds and gilding with a pink luster edge. It’s a very individual type of plate that would be difficult to make. The pink luster edge is nice and heavy with no wear. German porcelain was known for high quality luster. These plates shine through with their quality and would look stunning with a shabby chic style table setting. They are as relevant today as when they were made. The last picture shows this plate with a Rose Medallion plate. The pinks look amazing! See less
