Vintage early mid century set of 8 Japanese hand painted lacquered plates. These plates were hand made in japan with hand painted red and black lacquered undersides and red lacquered tops with beautiful brushed gold on top of the red. The tops are intricately hand painted with beautiful motifs that include butterflies, trees, flowers, and birds. Each plate is beautiful and unique with it's own design. The set is high quality craftsmanship with age appropriate signs of ware. Perfect for serving or display in your asian, mid century, or hollywood regency home!
