French Style Versailles Clock Made in Italy.
A Very Fine Beautiful porcelain and chiselled and gilded bronze clock from the Louis Philippe period in the style of the Manufacture of Versailles. This rare clock is composed of a base holding the movement FHS, centered by a white enamel dial with Roman numerals. This charming porcelain ensemble is embellished on every face of Rosewood decors in cartouches, highlighted of gold on a celestial background. It is decorated with a gilded bronze mount of laurel leaves, fruits, flowers and interlaces. The top of the clock is decorated with an ormolu statue of Cupid playing music.

A truly beautiful and very impressive clock in excellent condition , the movement having been cleaned and serviced,
Finely chased ormolu with original gilt. The clock is in working condition.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES: Gilt Bronze, Rosewood, Venner, Glass.
WEAR: Wear consistent with age and use.
