UPDATE:

When this beauty arrived from the far East Coast it became clear that the primary beneficiary of this incredible piece of RL history was in fact a 4 legged member of the family. Years of enjoyment had caused the original hides to darken on the horizontal surface due to the oils in this lucky pooches skin. After several weeks of deliberation I have decided to do a complete upholstery renovation on the chaise. Going to the source of the original leather for Ralph Lauren Home, I have chosen to make a color change for this Iconic piece's new life. It will be several weeks before it's completed and the listing will likely changed with the updates and I'll do my best to keep the interested parties informed on the new listing with the help of Chairish staff. Impossible to replicate. The leather color is Carbon Black, it's actually the deepest Blue color you might imagine and at first glance appears Black. Extraordinary in every way.
