A one-of-a-kind upholstered chaise lounge designed and handcrafted in france in 1999 by parisian designer jean-rémy couradette. Conceived as a bespoke piece for a private interior, the design reads as an elegant “banquette” silhouette—low, elongated, and deliberately sculptural—balancing salon refinement with inviting comfort.
the chaise is fully upholstered in a luminous pale blue silk-like textile with an ornate floral jacquard in soft gold and muted tones, finished with wide braided trim and a deep bullion-fringe skirt that gives the piece a distinctly french decorative presence. A centered, upright backrest creates a composed, symmetrical profile and allows the chaise to function beautifully in an entry hall, dressing room, bedroom, or at the foot of a bed.
