Believed to be an original Edward Wormley chaise lounge.

Circa 1946.
Bleached mahogany.
Caned seat and back.
Wood hair pin legs.

The gorgeous lines of this chaise makes it a stunning designed piece of furniture.
This is an opportunity to buy an Edward Wormley chaise with knowledge that it will require a bit of restoration as well as a seat cushion made by an upholster.

This chaise is in as found condition and we will try our best to describe any issues.
This chaise has evidence of having a full seat cushion by way of the snaps on the back area that would have held the long cushion.

Original caning with two areas of some broken cane as shown.
Original wood surface and finish that has not be touched up.
One arm has an old repair as shown. We are guessing the arm was broken off and the previous owner glued it.
The two arms have what appear to be the original upholstery with some fabric surface wear,

Provenance unknown. It was sourced from a sale in The Hudson Valley area.
