Antique late 19th century French Napoleon Ill period stone mantel clock with inlaid malachite accents and incised gilt string-work, rising … Read more Antique late 19th century French Napoleon Ill period stone mantel clock with inlaid malachite accents and incised gilt string-work, rising on a stepped base, having an arched top over a rectangular case. The face has a gilt metal dial with hour markers in Roman numerals and bears the name J. E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia. NOTE: The last photo shows the clock with 2 matching bronze urns which I am selling as a pair in my shop in case you are interested in the set. They are NOT part of this sale. Also, the clock is sold as a decorative piece and would need to be evaluated and/or repaired by a professional to insure its functionality.

In good condition considering age and history. Zoom in on photos to see any imperfections including some surface wear and spots on the stone plus a small chip on the top back corner of the stone case.
