The actual Cavendish House was a British Mansion built in Danville, California, from 1983 to 1985, created by renowned architect Doug Darling, designer Barbara Elliot, and British owners Peter and Pauline Lay.
The team sought fine French-style furniture and unusual, one-of-a-kind objets d'art to complement the traditional design. The owners downsized in 2011 to retire, so they stored their beloved and sought-after pieces.
Peter and Pauline only sell the precious items they have purchased, own, and meticulously used or stored.
