The case in stunning burled walnut with gilt bronze ormolu, the door, having a round spyglass window, showing the movement of the pendulum. Has an eight day movement with a bell strike.

Cabinetmakers in Belgian cities such as Liege, began to offer goods that reflected the tastes and needs of a new class. But the strongest aesthetic statement came from the wood - richly-grained, honey-colored, often book-matched veneers of walnut and fruitwood.

The Clock case is in good original condition with no major losses. The clock dial has some old damage on the bottom right and bottom left. Please refer to images. See less
