The Vintage Pulled Feather Vase signed by CC Walters is a magnificent piece of art glass that boasts an iridescent deep cobalt blue crystal with gold, silver, and green favrille feathered effects. This spectacular aurene blue heliotropic vase was created by the renowned surfer and glassblower Chuck Walters for Jalama Glass Studio in California.
This exquisite vase measures 8 1/4" x 6" and features a classic pulled feather design that is highly distinctive and sought after by collectors. The piece is signed C.C. Walters '85, adding to its authenticity and value. Chuck Walters, who started blowing glass in 1977 at Phoenix Studios in Santa Barbara, California, learned to make Tiffany/Steuben-style vases, lamps, and other items while working with Carl Radke. Eight years later, he opened his own studio, Jalama Glass, where he developed his own style of paperweights, vases, sculptures, perfume bottles, and an assortment of glassware.
Chuck Walters is known for his unique and highly collectible art glass, which he has sold through galleries and art shows. He has combined his passions for surfing and blowing glass for over three decades, attempting to bring the beauty of ocean waves to his art.
