These beautiful Chiavari chairs have beautiful tole painting, curved backs, and lovely plush seats. They were recently reupholstered with new cotton batting and webbing. We had to remove the original horsehair stuffing, due to its condition. Vintage dead-stock woven silk fabric was used to reupholster the seats, featuring a red and orange chrysanthemum pattern.
The Tole and finish of the wood was left as found. Could be refinished, but they are such a beautiful example of tole and such a lovely iridescent sheen to the polish of the green!
Beautiful for a tea table, vanity, or breakfast nook!
