This stunning pair of Victorian hand-carved walnut ladies chairs are nothing short of breathtaking when you see them in an environment. They've spent the last 50 years of their lives next to a baby grand piano in a beautiful music room of a large Louisville estate.
The top yolk has a brilliantly designed and carved floral crest with flanking pierced scrolls, the carved cabriole legs showcase floral medallions on the shoulder of each front leg, finishing with delicate lines to a soft ending curve. The upholstery is a gorgeous intricate pattern comprised of persimmon red and gold with a black dot finish in each red center. The chairs and upholstery are in wonderful shape. Take some time with each of these images to appreciate the craftsmanship! These would be a spectacular pair in an entry hall or side chairs in a living room environment!
