These are six (6) Mid 20th Century salad / dessert / snack plates, the remnants of a dinnerware pattern made by Keramic Zell am Harmersbach in Germany, a small town that lies between the Rhine River and the Black Forest. It has been the home of several pottery companies.
Glazed stoneware with a mustard-yellow background, a hint of burnt orange, and caramel-colored swirls, the pattern is marked No 4698 "Sandra" on the underside and is a simple yet elegant with hand-rendered dark chocolate brown scrolls around the outer rim and the high gloss finish which deepens the honey-like color.
They make a lovely and "Boho Chic" salad and snack serving set.
The plates measure 9 1/8" in diameter and 1" in height.
