The octagonal, ochre glazed dishes, with a raised beaded border, are a perfect example of the elegance of the French early 19th century neoclassical era. No marks indicative of origin, other than embossed numbers on some bottoms. We estimate that these dishes date from the late 19th century.

1 tureen, 2 platters, 2 small serving plates, 2 serving bowls, 6 small porringer bowls, 11 shallow bowls, 6 small plates, 12 medium plates and 21 of the largest plates. There are no "dinner sized" plates in the set.
