This antique Mora clock from Sweden features a rounded head topped with a carved crown, a subtle teardrop shaped belly, and rests on a flat base. Upward curved molding defines the neck at underside of head, which is repeated about the lower waist. The original metal face has painted roman numerals and ornately decorated metal hands. This piece has a scraped finish to the original wood, with a gold trim color about the face.

This clock would be wonderful as a decorative object, however it is not currently in working condition. Upon purchase (and before shipping), a new quartz battery will be added behind the face. The original hands are too heavy to carry the quartz movement, so they would be changed to black hands in a similar in style. The clock would then chime (the chime can be turned off). A pendulum selected to work with the quartz movement would be added.
