A set of eight ironstone polychrome transfer printed divided chop or grill plates.
The pattern is ‘Bosphorus,’ inspired by a region near Istanbul, Turkey.
Attributed to J.Marshall & Co., Bo’ness, Scotland, circa 1860.
A romantic landscape printed in cobalt blue with a floral border and a yellow banding to the rolled rim.
The three sectioned plates are heavy, perfect for an outdoor grill party. Pretty and sturdy enough for everyday use.
