The bold Baroque form of the tureen is enhanced by the painted detailing, primarily in gold, but also featuring floral bouquets on all four faces of the lid. The handle on top is designed to resemble a cabbage. Remove the lid, and discover that even the inside of the piece has been hand-painted with a splendid floral bouquet! Such works are considered so decorative that they can be used as centerpieces by themselves, or for serving the chef's masterpiece in style!
