I purchased this sublime beauty new and most recently had it placed in my home office in our former home. I’m re-configuring my office footprint and alas this fabulous chair is not going to work in the new space so it’s looking for a new home, yours perhaps? Sophisticated with clean, classic lines and a dash of boho chic charm with its woven rattan back, its inspiration comes from the classic Wormley designed slipper chair for Dunbar. The wide seat proportion is comfortably firm and is covered in a saddle stitched dark chocolate brown faux/vegan leather that is taut and in excellent condition, as it has rarely been sat on. This beauty measures 31” x 25” x 24½” H/W/D; seat depth 23½”, seat width 25” taken from the very front of the seat which tapers back to 20”; seat thickness 5”; back 18½” x 23” H/W; seat to floor height 15”; weight approximately 20 to 25 lbs.; solid hardwood frame and legs; handwoven cross pattern rattan back with a lacquer finish; handcrafted in Indonesia; purchased new in the early 1980s. In excellent condition with little to no visible wear. Underneath, the lining was punctured during our recent move (see photo 10); small hole which does not affect the lining's integrity. Maximum style and utmost comfort, what more could you ask for?
