Striking ornamental details seen throughout this Moroccan-inspired piece. A locking window made of 4 panels at the bottom of the lantern allows one to reach in to place candles, votives or tea lights and if the new owner is up to the challenge this lantern can be modified to become electric with a little bit of extra work. There is a hook attached to the top of the finial for hanging but this lantern can also be displaced on top of any surface (credenza, table, shelf, dresser, etc.). No mark found. Probably made some time in the 1960s or 70s. A very hard to find unique piece! See less

- On the very bottom row there is one panel with a crack in the glass and the panel next to … moreOn the very bottom row there is one panel with a crack in the glass and the panel next to it is missing the glass. A quick fix would be to get a piece of colored plexiglass cut to fit that window. See closeup photo showing these two flawed panels. Other than this the entire lantern is in very good shape with no other issues. less
