This listing is for a rare antique 18th century Swiss clock.
This bracket clock is quite gorgeous featuring a gilt wooden case, a large porcelain dial, and a quarter strike sonnerie movement
The clock is signed on the movement “Rupert ___ (last name not legible)”. The last name might be “Giracher.”
The clock is very unusual and quite eye catching. The front has a carving of Janus, the Roman god of beginnings, gates, transitions, and time.

The front does not have glass, but it doesn’t appear that it was supposed to. The movement was last serviced in 2017.
