A stunningly, … Read more Vintage: 1930's, Art Deco Era, Italian hand blown Murano female, lady of the house, figurine sculpture, by Barovier. A stunningly, gorgeous hand made Murano, in an alluring array of colorations; of soft pink, clear with gold dust, white with gold dust, aventurine cased, stretched bubble inclusions. There is also a hand applied clear leaf with gold dust, and a swirled round platform raised base. Pontil underneath round base, as last image indicates. Murano is thick and heavy; with fluted, full-blown open skirt, tilted in back, and underneath is a solid pink underlay, in addition to a clear bowl of either pink with gold dusted fruit or vegetables in one arm, while the other is raised. Also with a cinched waist, while the collar, cuffs and twisted belt are a solid white with gold dust, and a clear with gold dust face and Andrew Sister-style hairdo, indicative of the era and manufacture. From a transplanted NYC Designer's, Florida Estate, as she was original owner, purchaser of this. In excellent condition. See less
