This dish has rounded sides and low foot-ring. Probably manufactured at one of the Dehua kilns. and three tiers of. The base is glazed and shows the manufacturer's mark in cobalt, square seal mark in archaic script within double frames.. This type of Qing Export porcelain kitchenware is often from shipwrecks. “Shipwreck porcelain.” This folkware dish is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue.

It has a central seal script that is a stylized version of the same character on the cavetto and is surrounded by ruyi lappets and three tiers of stylized Sanskrit “om” characters, sacred Tibetan Buddhist Lantsa script. The underside is painted with three Buddhist emblems and a signature chiseled into the porcelain.
