Here we have an original "Ben Franklin" by Westclox, a trademark of the Western Clock Manufacturing Company of LaSalle, Illinois. This clock was introduced in 1935. This white clock has a Plaskon case and is a model S4. The case was designed by Joseph Reinhardt and was covered by design patent D96337, which was issued in July, 1935. It is a simple, clean Art Moderne design that doesn't look at all dated after 70 years.
Measures 7in wide x 2" deep and 5.5" tall
