Each measures 10.5 inches in diameter by 6 inches tall. Both have a dripped interior deep brown glaze. The 1 gallon milk pan was a staple of Baltimore potters though other examples have been found in Pennsylvania and Washington DC and elsewhere. The glaze in very similar to that of crocks made in York, Pa and an attribution could be made there. What is most striking is the depth and prominence of the spouts. Finding an identical pair was very rare. See less
