The story behind the big pink man featured in this one of a kind chair is a Netflix show waiting to happen! Abdala Bucaram is a highly controversial populist ex-president of Ecuador. Impeached 6 months after taking office for corruption, bribes, and being "mentally unfit," his antics are still in the news today. This Pop Art meets Folk Art chair is from Abdala's 1st (unsuccessful) presidential bid (1988-1992), as founder of the Ecuadorian Roldosist Party (PRE).
