A delight and so very chic set of four (4) beautiful bone china plates, made by Wedgwood.
They are antique or vintage, dating to the early 20th century, and feature a rich gold rim encrusted with a greek key design, scrolling vines of strawberries in gold with riased gilt veining to the leaves, and rosy hand enameled strawberries.
They are Art Deco in style.
Each measures 9" in diameter, for luncheon or dessert.
All are in very nice condition with just three specks of gilt rub across the set, small area where the gilt is worn, as shown in pictures if you activate the ZOOM. Very tiny...adds to the charm of antique finery And that is what makes antiques...antiques
