Perhaps an American history buff with interest in George Washington would be intrigued by this plate! It could be used as a cake plate or serving plate - but might be best left on display. In the right home it would be a beautiful display piece.
This pristine mid-century plate "Crest-O-Gold" warranted 22K gold leaf is made by Sabin and is stamped W.S. George on the back. These were made in McKeesport, PA between 1947-1979 and this plate appears to be part of the George & Martha series. It is in mint condition and the 22K gold is really beautiful.
