This ultra cool covered dish or bowl has long wrapped brass bamboo handles. The painted design is similar to eel skin, with the tiniest circles painted in black on a bisque background. Heavy and very well detailed, even the little brass balls in the surface of the lid can turn. What a work of art!
In mint condition, the vintage piece is certainly a perfect find for the collector of all things unusual.
The maker of this piece is marked on the bottom as "CASTILIAN."
