It was manufactured by the Crocker Chair Company, and still has the original label underneath. It looks to have been restored in the 1960's, and has the tag of the upholstery shop that restored it in LA. The original seat was caning, and it has a cushion done for it. It has a dark green leather backrest and backing, and has a tweed cushion in green and an off-white. The cushion is flippable, and has green on the other side, and leather boxing and piping. The chair frame is made of solid mahogany, and is a dark walnut finish. The chair is structurally solid and strong, and has a great design with a curved backrest. It has solid brass trims throughout. The chair would work as a desk chair, side chair, accent chair, guest chair, or side arm chair. It does show vintage wear as shown. See less
