The design is composed of a highly reflective, gracefully curved bowl that sits on a stepped pedestal. Gumps was a legendary, high-end luxury department store in San Francisco founded in 1861. They commissioned prominent American silversmiths like Gorham and Reed & Barton to produce exclusive hollowware. Marked 'Gump San Francisco EP' in a style indicating it was produced in the 1950's or 1960's. See less
