This is a magnificent, comprehensive 84-piece antique porcelain dinnerware service for twelve by Theodore Haviland Limoges in the romantic Schleiger 143 pattern. Manufactured in Limoges, France, circa 1900, each piece features elegant wavy scalloped borders with molded vertical ribbing, delicate sepia-toned and pink floral sprays, and brilliant polished gold trim accents.
Finding an entire, matching 7-piece place setting intact for twelve guests—completely inclusive of the highly collectible antique individual butter pats—is an exceptional rarity.
