Morbier 'L. Gremaux' 'Montceau-les-Mines' grandfather clock. Violin-shaped wooden case, typically decorated with a faux wood finish. The base features an oval medallion painted with floral motifs. The pendulum is a lyre-type pendulum in embossed brass, embellished in the center with a large painted vase of flowers. The hands are perforated brass. The dial is made of sheet metal with Roman numerals and the watchmaker's instructions. Surrounding the dial is a section of embossed brass, which echoes the floral motifs of the pendulum below. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
