Elegant vintage covered serving dish or warming server featuring a silver-plated finish, domed lid, and beautifully turned wooden handle. The lid is adorned with an engraved heraldic griffin crest, lending the piece a distinguished, old-world character and timeless appeal.
The circular form is enhanced by a decorative finial and rich mahogany-toned wood handle, creating a refined silhouette suitable for traditional, English country, Tudor Revival, or eclectic interiors. Whether displayed in a dining room, bar, or kitchen vignette, this piece serves as a handsome decorative accent and conversation piece.
The silver plate has developed an authentic aged patina with areas of tarnish and wear that highlight its vintage character. A wonderful addition to a collection of antique-style tableware, silver, or European decorative objects. Stamped with the MRR S English Silver Mfg.
