A 19th-century scrubbed pine farmhouse desk with a beautifully aged surface and patina from daily utilitarian use. The turned legs taper gently towards the floor and terminate in their original wooden casters. One long drawer slides easily and provides roomy storage. The wood is a soft, golden oak tone with a wax finish. Many repeating tabletop marks indicate it was used as a standalone kitchen counter or small dining table.
Sourced in Southern Oregon from an estate of Swedish immigrants, it may have originated in Europe, as many of their belongings did.
