An exceptional and vibrant set of seven (7) antique fine porcelain dinner plates from the highly coveted Thomas Ivory line, crafted by Porzellanfabrik Thomas in Bavaria, Germany—a historic subsidiary of the prestigious Rosenthal Group.
This set is decorated in the rare and elegant "Rosemont" pattern, which boasts an intricate, romantic display of mixed English garden floral sprays including pink cabbage roses, violet clusters, and soft blue accent florals. The bouquet motifs are beautifully counterbalanced against a warm, luminous ivory glaze, classic gently scalloped relief rims, and finished with a delicate, continuous hand-gilded 22K gold outer edge and inner pinstripe trim.
The bases are marked with the official underglaze green backstamp reading "Thomas Ivory / Thomas Bavaria / Rosemont" alongside the original U.S. Patent Application markings, dating this precise production run to the 1930s era. A wonderful addition for high-end table settings, mixing-and-matching with transitional porcelain, or displaying in a traditional hutch.
