The original brass frames retain their naturally aged patina, which has been intentionally preserved to maintain the chairs’ authentic vintage character and rich, timeworn appearance. The brass exhibits age-appropriate surface scratches, minor abrasions, oxidation, discoloration, and variations in tone consistent with vintage use. The frames have not been polished or refinished, allowing their distinctive original character to remain intact. Please review all photographs carefully for additional condition details. The original Mastercraft manufacturer’s label is no longer present following upholstery work performed during the chairs’ lifetime. The chairs have recently been reupholstered in Clarence House fabric, while the original brass patina has been intentionally preserved.
