Featuring an exuberant Rococo Revival aesthetic, the perimeter is heavily embellished with deeply cast pierced scrollwork, asymmetrical flourishes, and an eye-catching acanthus leaf cresting motif, grounded by an inner rope-trim border.
True to premium fine-art metalwork of the era, the reverse is unbranded, non-magnetic, and highlights a wonderful granular texture from its original sand-casting manufacturing process. The fabric backing board is tightly secured by a beautifully stylized, leaf-shaped swivel turn button and matching knurled thumb screw hardware. Fitted with clear glass, this elegant sculptural piece stands perfectly on a fold-out easel arm—adding a timeless touch of old-world sophistication to any vanity, desk, or bookshelf vignette. I love the leaf-shaped swivel turn buttons.
Frame opening is 4.5" wide 6 3/8" tall. See less
