Mahogany and mahogany feather longcase clock attributed to the Jas Wharrie Otley manufacture, dating to mid-19th century England. The lacquered and painted sheet metal dial features a refined combination of Roman and Arabic numerals, enriched with pictorial decorations in the corners and upper bezel. The structure is characterized by a glass door, flanked by two turned columns supporting an elaborate pediment with scrolls, curls, and a central plume. The central column has a door and rests on bracket feet, providing stability and a touch of elegance to the ensemble. This piece represents an example of English craftsmanship of the era, ideal for enriching classic interiors with its imposing presence and detailed craftsmanship.
