Authentic mid-century modern wall clock manufactured in West Germany in 1962 by the renowned Franz Hermle & Sohn (FHS) company. The trapezoidal case combines light wood and rich walnut veneer with a high-gloss polished finish, complemented by brass hardware and an original braided textile hanging cord. The dial features contrasting cream and dark brown tones with prominent brass hands and markers.
Driven by a mechanical 8-day spring-driven movement (caliber 130-020) equipped with a balanced escapement and a 3-hammer "Bim-Bam" strike mechanism. The backplate bears the official FHS maker's mark and the production year stamp "62", accompanied by the original "Original Gehäuse" factory label on the upper right rear case.
Dimensions: Case width approx. 28 cm/ 11 in, height approx. 26 cm/ 10 in, depth approx. 8 cm/ 3 in.
