This elegant porcelain planter features an octagonal form with a flared rim, resting upon a matching pedestal base. The body is decorated in underglaze blue on a white ground, featuring a series of framed panels depicting alternating scenes of mountainous landscapes with pavilions and blossoming floral branches. The panels are separated by decorative borders and the pedestal base is adorned with a scrolling vine motif and pierced openings, with a central drainage hole visible on the interior. The piece exhibits a rich, aged patina with natural variations in the glaze and some discoloration, characteristic of vintage ceramics. It is a distinguished example of traditional blue and white porcelain.
