This striking 19th century Baroque Revival library table or writing desk is executed in a deep ebonized finish, highlighting its dramatic architectural silhouette. The table features four turned barley-twist (Solomonic) column legs anchored by a matching twisted stretcher base complete with an ornamental center carved block. A versatile scale, rectangular top, and beautifully carved and finished apron, this is well suited as an entry table, study desk, of focal console table.
