The tall architectural backs are filled with intricate geometric fretwork, layered bamboo framing and decorative bent-rattan elements, continuing along the arms and aprons.

Each chair retains its woven seat and warm aged natural finish, with wrapped joints and beautifully varied tones developed over years of use. The scale and elaborate workmanship give these chairs a commanding presence while the open construction keeps them visually light.

A truly special pair with wonderful Old Florida, British Colonial and Chinoiserie character. Beautiful as statement chairs flanking a console, at the heads of a dining table or simply placed where the backs can actually be seen and appreciated because hiding these against a wall would almost be criminal.
