This American barware piece features a classic rounded body, domed fitted lid and white milk-glass liner with cork insulation.

Particularly beautiful are the elaborate cast floral and scrolling side handles and the decorative pierced finial, giving the otherwise streamlined vessel a wonderful touch of traditional glamour. The combination works beautifully in Hollywood Regency, traditional, Grandmillennial and collected interiors.

Measuring approximately 9.75 inches across the handles, 6.5 inches in body diameter and 9.5–10 inches high to the top of the finial, the bucket has excellent presence for a home bar or entertaining display.

The original manufacturer’s label is no longer present, although its rectangular outline remains visible on the underside. The form, dimensions, construction, milk-glass liner and decorative hardware closely correspond to documented Sheridan/Taunton Silversmiths ice buckets of the period. For that reason, the piece is being offered as attributed to Sheridan/Taunton rather than definitively marked.
