Elegant late 19th century pair of hand‑painted porcelain ewers with richly detailed cast brass mounts. Each ewer features a tall, tapered porcelain body with a soft green‑to‑ivory ground and fired enamel hand painted rose bouquets on both sides. The metalwork is ornate and substantial, with scrolling Rococo handles, decorative collars, and shaped bases typical of Victorian parlor garniture.
These were produced as decorative mantel pieces, not functional vessels, and remain beautifully balanced as a pair. The painting is original and old, with visible brushwork and natural age toning. Bases are unmarked, consistent with Old Paris / Continental studio production of the era.
A refined, romantic accent for traditional, cottage, English country, or Regency interiors.

The hand‑painted rose motifs show strong, intact enamel with only light, expected age toning from natural oxidation over time. The cast brass mounts retain their original patina and present well, with minor surface wear appropriate for age but no structural looseness. The pair stands solidly, displays beautifully, and remains fully decorative as intended.
